How it all started...
After more than three decades of serving the Lord together — and helping plant and strengthen ministries that are still thriving today — Jeremy and Michelle Cundiff sensed the Lord stirring something new. What began as a quiet conviction grew into a clear calling: it was time to build again.
With prayer, obedience, and a deep desire to host the presence of God, The Gathering was born in Palm Coast, Florida. The early days were simple and personal — meeting in a home with a small circle of faithful friends and family, building line upon line, prayer upon prayer. It wasn’t about size or visibility. It was about foundation.
From those living room gatherings, the vision took root. What started as a step of faith began to grow into a community hungry for authentic worship, biblical teaching, and the moving of the Holy Spirit.
Today, The Gathering meets at our Palm Coast campus in the beautiful Palm Coast Community Center, with plans moving forward toward a permanent facility. What began in obedience continues in expectation.
We are still building the same way we started — by hosting His presence and trusting Him to build His Church.

As The Gathering continues to grow, so does the vision. We see a church where every generation is discipled and equipped — from children and teens to young adults and families — all rooted in the truth of Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Our growth vision includes thriving small groups, dynamic next-generation ministries, worship development, athletics, and intentional community outreach — each one centered on Jesus and designed to raise mature believers who influence their world. We are not expanding for activity’s sake, but to create environments where people encounter God, grow in faith, and step confidently into their calling.
